Smoking cessation

General information on smoking cessation is provided below. For specific information on smoking cessation aids or services, please use the links at the top of the screen.

The Cochrane Tobacco Addiction Group produces systematic reviews of the evidence on interventions to prevent and treat tobacco addiction.  This include interventions for smoking cessation, for preventing uptake, and public policy interventions to reduce smoking prevalence. The main focus is on smoking but also covers interventions for smokeless tobacco.
