	Scotland and European Health for All (HfA) database 2009 Published by ScotPHO, this database compares Scottish health data with that of 53 member states of the WHO European Region. It compares 600 health-related indicators, including smoking prevalence and the number of cigarettes consumed per person per year. Scottish data available for 82% of indicators

	Tobacco smoking in Scotland: an epidemiology briefing This briefing looks at how tobacco impacts on the population health of Scotland, why people take up smoking and continue to smoke, and what might be done to curb the epidemic.
